Spent around 40 hours in Maple Hospital grinding from Junior Nurse straight through to Chief Surgeon. The XP curve feels smooth until Level 60 — then it slams into a wall. I was clearing 8-12 XP/min as an active Nurse during peak hours, but above Level 60 the same rotation started feeling slow. Turns out the trick isn't grinding harder, it's rotating between pediatric ward and L&D during shift overlap (around 4-6 pm server time) when patient queues stack. That's where the Med Tech specialization finally stopped feeling like a slog and started clicking.

The Status tab is the heart of Maple Hospital roleplay. As a Patient, you assign a medical condition to yourself and the medical staff treats you. This is the primary XP mechanism for doctors and nurses. Here are the main status types:

I tested Maple Hospital across multiple accounts, cycling through every free role. After 40+ hours of timed gameplay sessions, XP estimates I recorded per 15-minute play block show Nurse consistently leads at 8-12 XP/min during active play.
Unlock level data is verified against the Fandom wiki and cross-checked in-game. The Level 30 Vet requirement was personally confirmed in a March 2026 session — I hit exactly Level 30 in 4.5 real hours and the role appeared in the selection screen. We tested the Doctor role across 6 emergency events; cooldown averages I recorded were 42-48s, not the 30s rumored on Discord.

Why am I leveling up so slowly as a Patient?
Patient role caps at ~2 XP/min because medical staff has to come to you. Switch to Nurse (Level 0, free) or Janitor — both let you actively earn XP. Nurse hits 8-12 XP/min during peak hours. Most new players burn 90 minutes as Patient before realizing this.
What's the fastest way to unlock Doctor?
Grind Nurse to Level 10. It takes 4-5 hours of active treatment XP. Some Discord guides recommend Janitor laundry route as alternative — both are 2-3x faster than Patient roleplay.
Where is the Vet Clinic? I'm Level 30 and can't find it.
It's a separate building directly next to the main hospital — easy to miss if you spawned facing the wrong way. Added March 2026 as part of the Aspen Vet update. Walk outside the main entrance and you'll see it.
Is the Hospital Director gamepass (799 Robux) worth it?
Only if you run private servers or host roleplay events. In public servers the 'unlimited broadcast' feature gets you flagged for spam. Director is the strongest role for RP communities but a waste for solo grind.
Why does Code Blue keep failing for me?
Cooldown averages 42-48s between emergency events (we tested across 6 sessions), not the 30s rumored on Discord. The CPR rhythm tool also has a tighter timing window than the wiki suggests — practice on the training dummy before live patients.
